Current SFEC Expiry
- The current SFEC was originally set to expire on 30th June 2025. However, following the 2025 Budget announcement, it will now extend until the new credit is ready.
Revamped SFEC Model
- A new SFEC model is planned for introduction in the second half of 2026, which will last for three years.
- This new model will operate differently, using an online wallet system instead of the current reimbursement process.

What is SkillsFuture Enterprise Credit (SFEC)?
SFEC is a funding scheme as an initiative by the Singapore government that provides eligible companies with a one-off $10,000 credit to offset out-of-pocket expenses for:

Who is Eligible for SFEC?
Your company is likely eligible for the SkillsFuture Enterprise Credit (SFEC) if you:
- Employ at least 3 Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents monthly.
- Haven’t received SFEC before.
- Are up-to-date on Skills Development Levy (SDL) payments and have an active ACRA status.
- Contributed at least S$750 to the SDL over a specific period.
Eligible employers are notified directly and don’t need to apply. You can check your SFEC balance on the Business Grants Portal or SkillsFuture Singapore’s SFEC microsite.
How Can Companies Use SFEC?
1. Identify Training Needs
