2. Organise Data With Quick Analysis Tools
The Microsoft Quick Analysis tool is a versatile feature that allows you to quickly analyse your data. You can use it to calculate row and column totals, and apply conditional formatting. With it, you can also add tables, charts, and sparklines instantly. One unique feature of the tool is that it changes its tool suggestions based on the type of data you select. It also offers a quick preview of the tools you are going to use. There are options for 5 categories including Formatting, Charts, Totals, Tables, and Sparklines. You’ll be surprised to find that the Quick Analysis tool is not in the Excel ribbon menu. It’s actually a small icon that will show up whenever you select a range of data. You can also use the shortcut “Ctrl+Q” after selecting a data range to access it.
