The Emerging Technologies and Trends course will delve into the digital workplace concept, exploring its evolution in the context of a post-pandemic world. Participants will gain insights into the various technologies that are pivotal in forming a digital workplace, including Visitor Management Systems, Collaboration/Meeting Suites, Building Management Systems, Security/Surveillance Systems, Access Control Systems, Room/Desk Booking Systems, and MultiFunction Devices.

For market trends, the course also emphasises the importance of timing and strategy in effectively implementing these emerging technologies. It aims to equip participants with the skills to critically evaluate the potential pitfalls of neglecting the consideration of these technologies in current practices.

This Emerging Technologies and Trends course is ideal for IT professionals and individuals interested in staying abreast of the rapidly evolving landscape of IT technologies and their impact on the business and societal landscape.

Prerequisites

To enrol in this course, you should possess the following:

  • Certificate in IT Infrastructure and Operations; OR

  • Mature candidates (≥ 30 years old with 8 years’ work experience in a digital marketing-related field); OR

  • Candidates with other qualifications will be considered on a case-by-case basis

  • Interactive Discussions: Organise interactive class discussions to encourage participation. This allows you to ask questions, share your thoughts, and engage in debates related to IT topics.

  • Hands-on Labs: Practical hands-on sessions provide you with the opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world scenarios. These labs can involve computer hardware assembly, software installation, programming exercises, or working with various IT tools and applications.

Certification

Upon successful completion of the Emerging Technologies and Trends course assessment, participants who have attended at least 75% of the course will receive a Certificate of Achievement by @ASK Training.
