  • Apply the appropriate penetration testing methodology in the prescribed environment.

This Cybersecurity and Ethical Hacking course is ideal for cybersecurity enthusiasts, IT professionals seeking to specialise in cybersecurity, and anyone interested in ethical hacking. It is also suitable for individuals looking to enhance their skills and knowledge in cybersecurity defense and offense strategies.

Prerequisites

To enrol in this course, you should possess the following:

  • Certificate in IT Infrastructure and Operations; OR
  • Mature candidates (≥ 30 years old with 8 years’ work experience in a digital marketing-related field); OR
  • Candidates with other qualifications will be considered on a case-by-case basis

Participants are expected to have a foundational understanding of cybersecurity concepts and basic knowledge of networking and system administration. Prior experience in cybersecurity or completion of an introductory cybersecurity course is highly recommended.

Instructional Methods
  • Lectures: Traditional lectures are an essential component of the course, where the trainer/facilitator presents the core concepts, theories, and principles of information technology. Visual aids such as slides, diagrams, and examples may be used to enhance understanding.

  • Interactive Discussions: Organise interactive class discussions to encourage participation. This allows you to ask questions, share your thoughts, and engage in debates related to IT topics.

  • Hands-on Labs: Practical hands-on sessions provide you with the opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world scenarios. These labs can involve computer hardware assembly, software installation, programming exercises, or working with various IT tools and applications.

Certification

Upon successful completion of the Cybersecurity and Ethical Hacking course assessment, participants who have attended at least 75% of the course will receive a Certificate of Achievement by @ASK Training.
