About the Speaker (Marcus Chiam)
Marcus Chiam is a business development and digital marketing specialist with over 20 years of experience across Southeast Asia. With a strong foundation in both technology and marketing, he has worked with leading global brands such as GoPro and FairPrice to drive consumer engagement, e-commerce growth, and loyalty campaigns.
Marcus began his career as an electronic engineer before transitioning into project management, and eventually into sales and marketing for the video game, consumer electronics, and lifestyle sectors. As a consultant, he has helped local SMEs and international companies strengthen their digital presence through data-driven strategies, social media marketing, and conversion optimisation.
He holds an MBA from the University of Adelaide and the Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP), and is passionate about sharing real-world insights to help others succeed in today’s fast-changing digital landscape.
