Some may feel that having knowledge of Microsoft Excel will suffice at work. In fact, Microsoft Access is preferred over Excel for people who deals with numerous reports and queries, especially for small business owners. Microsoft Access is used for collecting and sorting of data, and is part of the RDMS (Relational Database Management Systems). This application is found in the higher versions of Microsoft Office. While both Excel vs Access are important applications, their functions are useful for different purposes. Excel only provides worksheets that are flat or non-relational. On the other hand, Access provides tables that are relational at multiple levels.

Upon completion of training, participants will develop essential knowledge and skills in using Microsoft Access. It allows the participants to understand the Database structure & concept with table relationships. You will also learn how to create and modify database objects such as tables, forms, reports, and queries, and subsequently apply intermediate skills to manage data entry, ensure data integrity, automate tasks and analyze data.

The training allows you to build a solid foundation of Access knowledge, and after you are familiar with the program, you will be focusing on database Design or administration.
