Overview of Course

As organisations increasingly rely on automated solutions to optimise their IT operations, the demand for IT professionals who are skilled in automation and orchestration continues to grow.

In this IT Infrastructure Automation and Orchestration course, learn all the tips and techniques for automating your cloud deployments with Azure PowerShell cmdlets, and learn how to provision Azure services on the fly. Automating various management tasks and deploying them is essential to having a controlled, auditable and version-able environment.

By combining the native automation capabilities of PowerShell with Azure Infrastructure Services, these powerful cmdlets enable you to create and configure virtual machines with ease. You’ll learn how to take advantage of these technologies to build complete virtual environments.

Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of this course, trainees should be able to demonstrate their skills and knowledge to:

  • Articulate the Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concept and differentiate between orchestration and automation, including assessing the benefits and challenges associated with IaC.
  • Apply the essential skills in writing and executing PowerShell scripts to be used for On-Premise or Cloud environments.
  • Setup the environment to enable IaC implementations.
  • Manage automation through ARM templates and Azure Blueprints.
  • Configure automation through Desired State Configuration on supported Windows Machines.
Who Should Attend

This IT Infrastructure Automation and Orchestration course is ideal for IT professionals, cloud administrators, system administrators, DevOps engineers, infrastructure engineers, and anyone responsible for managing and automating IT infrastructure. It is designed for those looking to enhance their skills in automating cloud deployments, leveraging Azure PowerShell cmdlets, and creating efficient, auditable, and version-controlled virtual environments.
