No. All workshops count towards job matching eligibility once you meet the requirements.
What is the benefit of attending both types of workshops by @ASK and AKG?
You are welcome to attend either type of workshop and can choose the session that is most convenient or relevant for you. The arrangement offers more scheduling flexibility and access to various facilitation styles, while ensuring you receive the same core career preparation and job matching support.
Are the topics and content the same for all facilitators?
While each facilitator brings their style and examples, all workshops cover a range of topics and are designed to achieve the same job matching outcomes.
What is the Career Matching Programme (CMP) about?
It’s a personalized service to connect you with job opportunities and resources tailored to your skills, experience, and career goals. Career matching is a process. Register your interest and the career advisors will contact you after the workshop.
Will I get one-to-one career advice during the workshop?
Workshops focus on group learning, but you may request an individual follow-up session with a career advisor after attending.
Is there a cost to attend?
No. All career workshops are part of your learner support benefits under our Infocomm Technology (Sales and Marketing) and Infocomm Technology (Infrastructure and Operations) programmes.
How do I prepare before attending?
Update your resume, including a list of your past work experiences, and remain open-minded to explore new career possibilities.
