This course is recommended for people who already have the basic fundamentals to phonics. If you do not have the basic fundamentals to phonics, we suggest you attend the course Phonics and Phonetics for Adults – Fundamentals before attending this one.
Accurate pronunciation is important if we want to be understood clearly. Many adults are often confused with the pronunciation of commonly used words which could lead to misunderstandings. In this course, Phonics and Phonetics for Adults – Intermediate, we will go into greater detail on how to improve the clarity of your speech so that you can communicate more effectively in the workplace and in personal life.

Within this 1-day workshop, participants will revise the 44 sounds of English in the phonemic chart, learn more information and practice on the basic topics such as word stress and intonation.

By the end of the course, you would be able to:
- Speak more fluently with 10 units of explanation and exercises
- Understand how connected speech works
- Understand how intonation aids in communication
