Course Description

Why is it so important to learn Excel? It is because almost every organization across all industries are using the Excel to boost their employees’ productivity and quality of work.

Many different Job roles require some form of Excel knowledge as Excel is one of the most indispensable data processing tools in the working world now.

You will be more confident in preparing reports if you are new to Microsoft Excel or need a structured training to increase your productivity while working with data.

 

In the 1-day workshop, learners will get to learn t he essential basics of how to work with formatting cell, values, worksheets and workbooks. You will also learn to use simple formulas like sum, average, count and autosum confidently. Most importantly, you will be guided on how to do page setup for printing.

 

Course Objectives

At the end of this course, you should be able to:

Use advanced functions such as Financial Logical Lookup and Text functions

Understand Excel Application, apply command shortcuts & enter basic Labels and Values

Create and manage conditional formatting rules

Lean how to edit Cell Contents, select Cells and Ranges & use (Autofill) function

Use the data validation function to control data being accepted for selected cells in your worksheet

Learn how to insert, delete, adjust cells, columns & rows and find or replace content or formats as well as checking for spelling mistakes and add in comments in the cells

Create scenarios and use the Goal Seek and Solver functions to achieve desired results in formulated cells

Formatting a Worksheet

Create and format your pivot tables pivot charts and slicers to filter your tables

Managing Workbooks

Record play delete and add macros to your quick access toolbar

Managing Page Setup and Printing
