Communicating With Power and Authenticity
Communication skills are essential in the workplace for us to articulate ideas clearly, work cohesively in teams and to establish good relationships with clients and fellow colleagues. Good communication skills will help to increase our productivity so that we can appear competent and professional in our areas of expertise.
In a dynamic and competitive modern working environment, being able to communicate authentically with others is not an easy task. When time is limited, tempers are short and everyone is trying to outperform each other to climb the corporate ladder, having poor communication skills will hurt our career prospects. The last thing we would want to hear is accusations of us being passive aggressive and intimidating in communication, and failing to listen to constructive advice.

In our 2-day ‘Communicating with Power and Authenticity’ workshop, participants will first evaluate how well they are communicating with others and be guided to recognize the common barriers that prevents successful communication from taking place. Next, they will be introduced to engaging language that helps to build rapport with people around them. Lastly, participants will learn how to utilize the power of questions and non-verbal communication to appear authentic for improved interpersonal relationships.
At the end of the workshop, participants will be ready to communicate clearly, confidently and effectively to build rapport with their customers, team members and employers with the effective communication skills and techniques that they have learnt.
